mayYou’re a fresh graduate and desperately need your own transport for commuting to the office every day. You can’t stand to use public transport anymore and buying a second hand car is not your cup of tea and based on your salary, the maximum you can afford to pay for the monthly installment is not more than 25% of your net salary. So what option do you have?

Worry not. Proton and Maybank have just introduced a quite attractive loan package especially for fresh graduate, government personnel and teaching professional. This package called Maybank EzyAuto Financing Scheme was introduced to cater the need for the young who just started their job to have a new car without bring too much financial constraint to them by offering a low start-up monthly installment that gradually steps-up over the loan repayment period therefore with lower than normal start-up monthly repayment, it allows graduate to own their dream car earlier than they normally require without having to wait for the next salary increment.

As low as RM 268 per month for the installment, a new graduate should be able to make a loan up to RM 25,000 or up to 90% margin of finance. Graduate should aged between 20 to 30 years old and have been employed at least for one month.

Please be advised this Maybank EzyAuto Financing Scheme is strictly for financing tenures of 9 years only and yours NRIC, copy of driving license and minimum 2 months pay slip are required when applying for this financing scheme. A standard loan application with complete documentations will be approved within 48 hours.

Celcom Prepaid Broadband

March 21st, 2009 | Comments | Posted in Tech

prepaid

Celcom has introduced a new prepaid plan for their broadband service.

Therefore should you subscribe to this offer ? At first I thought this prepaid plan is same as the mobile prepaid plan where you buy the credits than you start using the service until the credit finish or till it is expired. However this plan works a little bit different. From my understanding when you bought the prepaid package worth of RM 25:

  • First you will get one week unlimited access, no fee will be deducted from your credit balance as a promotion for their new product.
  • Then you will be charged RM6 for 24 consecutive hours of Internet access at speed up to 384Kbps if you are planning to use the Internet for the whole day and will not be using it for the next day.
  • A Ringgit Malaysia of 20 will be charged if you’re using the service for 20 consecutive days of Internet access at speed up to 384Kbps.I am not sure how it will be charged if you’re using the service less than 24 hours per day.

If I am not mistaken if you’re using the service for straight 30 days you will be paying more than the post paid package can offers. The amount will be RM80 in total. (RM 20 for first 20 days + (RM6 x last 10 days)).

I cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information; better call them if you want to hear more details explanations. No modem will be provided.
